How I Keep My Testosterone at 1000 ng/dL in My 30s
We’re told a guy’s testosterone drops 1 to 2 percent a year once we hit 30. It’s supposed to ghost you. Leave you on read. Slip out the back in the middle of the party. But for some reason, mine’s doing the opposite.
Well — actually, there may be a few reasons.
Turns out testosterone works like most of your other biological system, being mainly modulated by lifestyle. Yes, this hormone that fires off so many of the reactions behind male vitality mostly does what your daily habits tell it to. So putting your cellular self in a position to operate efficiently, and doing it consistently, seems to be the deeply un-sexy, unglamorous way to keep testosterone (and all its vitality perks) pumping for longer.
Who woulda thunk….
Here’s how I keep mine hovering around 1,000 ng/dL in my mid-thirties, and how I plan to hold it there into my forties and beyond.
